This week’s 9-1-1: Lone Star was definitely different. “Negative Space” focused on finding Owen’s stalker and the truth was somewhat shocking. And creepy. Nancy also has to face the consequences of her actions this week, and TK has a set back. Let’s review.
Owen’s Stalker Revealed

“Negative Space” started right where last week’s episode left off: with a dead pig in Owen’s bed. The cops question Owen, and we revisit his anger management problem. He’s punched a lot of people. Anyway, Owen and Marjan are convinced the sheriff’s deputy Roy Griffin is behind the attacks after discovering he’s out of jail. Then Sadie’s art gallery goes up in flames and Roy Griffin just happens to be there.
Oh Sadie. We were wondering what happened to her. It turns out she’s been pining away for Owen ever since the ice storm. Yep, you guessed it: she’s Owen’s stalker. She wanted Catherine out of the way. And, yeah, that was awful, but we’re most upset about her putting oxy in Carlos and TK’s food. Did she not know or just not care that TK is a recovering drug addict? So now he’s back to day one, and we hate that for him. We really hope he doesn’t relapse.
Marjan goes to visit TK and Carlos and then Sadie attacks her. But Marjan doesn’t back down! Because of her, the cops are able to get Sadie in custody, and hopefully we don’t have to deal with her ever again. What a nightmare.
DNR

Speaking of nightmares, Nancy didn’t have a great week, either. Nancy and Tommy are called to help save Joanna. When Joanna wakes up she’s livid that Tommy saved her life. She has a DNR. Later in the episode, Joanna sues Nancy. It’s just for a $1, but she makes it clear that Nancy must be fired.
Okay, we know Nancy was wrong for resuscitating Joanna after she saw the DNR. And Joanna had every right to be mad for Nancy ignoring her wishes. But what about Joanna’s sister? Why wasn’t everyone livid at her? She was the one that called 9-1-1, and she definitely knew about the DNR.
Joanne’s right: people that have DNRs have voices that should be heard. But we know Nancy is a good person who just happened to make a bad choice. We’re happy she didn’t have to resign because we kind of like having her around.
Other Thoughts
- It definitely seems like all of Owen’s girlfriends and wives have issues, right? What’s up with his second wife and her “thing” with knifes?
- Owen really needs to stop punching people and take his anger management problem seriously.
- We love Marjan. She’s not afraid to speak her mind about anything. But maybe she should have listened to Paul and not told the entire grocery store about Roy.
9-1-1: Lone Star airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.
