There are so many great shows coming out on streaming services it makes it next to impossible to cancel any of them. Cutting cable may have been easy, but cutting streaming services isn’t so easy.
The Staircase is a reason to keep HBO Max, because the show looks really good.
In this new limited series, “THE STAIRCASE explores the life of Michael Peterson (Firth), his sprawling North Carolina family, and the suspicious death of his wife, Kathleen Peterson (Collette).”

The limited series stars Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Sophie Turner, Juliette Binoche, Dane DeHaan, and Parker Posey.
The first three episodes of the eight episode series will drop HBO Max on May 15th.
