Netflix’s Heartstopper has stolen the hearts of fans all over the world. Through its LGBTQ+ stories we have been witness to empowering stories that we wish we had as teens and that could change the lives of those going through these experiences now. And since we can’t contain ourselves and really need season 2 & 3 now, we’ve put together a list of fanvids of some of our favorite ships. And we’re not just talking about Charlie and Nick either. There’s some love for Elle and Tao and Tara and Darcy too!
Nick/Charlie
The quintessential Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) had the kind of journey that made us swoon and wish we had this as a teen. They went from casual acquaintances that said “hi” every day, to friends, to confidants, to falling in love. Not only that, they grew into themselves, finding the confidence to take the steps to live authentically. And until we get more of them in seasons 2 & 3 of Heartstopper, here are a couple of Charlie and Nick fanvids.

Elle/Tao
Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao) are childhood best friends who know each other like the back of their hands. Different schools forced them apart but allowed them to grow as people and realize how much they mean to each other. We’d love to see what comes next for them as the sparks fly. Tara/Darcy
Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) are another important aspect of telling honest representation on Heartstopper. Both are young women trying to live without hiding from themselves or the love they share. And their journey is the kind that would’ve given us hope as young queer people trying to understand what it means to be a lesbian, bisexual, or gay. And our hope is to see more of them in seasons 2 & 3. But, like before, until then here are some fanvids to tide you over!
