Amazon Prime Video has finally released the teaser trailer for My Policeman.
The film, based on the book by Bethan Roberts, looks super angsty. Starring Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, and David Dawson, My Policeman follows Tom Burgess (Styles) a policeman who is gay living in a world where it is illegal to be so. Because society is obviously dictating who he can be, he ends up marrying a schoolteacher named Marion (Corrin). At the same time, he meets and falls in love with a museum curator named Patrick (Dawson).
Yesterday the official film poster was released and showcases a pensive-looking Harry Styles as Tom in his policeman’s uniform.

The teaser is less than a minute long, but in that short period, we felt the emotions coming through from everyone, especially Harry Styles. Anyone who has had to hide their true identity will gravitate toward this story. And the theme of waves with the conversation taking place between Tom and Patrick in the teaser is so profound. We’re ready to be swept away by this film and even though we know we’re not prepared for all the emotions to come; we can’t wait to see what Harry will bring to this role.
