Sorry for the sarcastic headline and then again, being a smart ass is who we are.
We have to admit that we find ourselves a little jealous when people are able to retire early. It’s like we don’t mean to be jealous, but we are and we just don’t wanna lie about it. We know that we’ll be working until the day we die, because you know – sometimes the world sucks.
Well most of the time. There’s like that two to three percent time that we’re going to give for it not sucking, because our therapist said that we need to be more optimistic. Can someone tell them we tried?
Another admission? We were sad when Cameron Diaz retired. She wasn’t our favorite actress, but we did and do love her. She’s talented, she’s funny, and she was smart enough to break up with Justin Timberlake (sorry, not sorry).
The actress is coming out of retirement for her first movie role in like a decade. She’s starring in a Netflix project entitled, Back in Action. Jamie Foxx is joining her in the upcoming film.
We can all lie and say we won’t watch it, but the truth is, we will, because again, she hasn’t made a movie in a long time.

We’ll overlook the fact that Tom Brady is involved with the announcement, because like Cameron’s been out of the game for awhile and we’re again, trying to be positive.
“I was talking to Jamie and he said you needed a few tips on how to un-retire,” Brady says. “I’m relatively successful at un-retiring.”
Difference is that some people should remain retired, Brady.
Anyhow Diaz followed up the announcement with an IG story saying, “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”
PR shit aside, we’re sure Foxx probably had something to do with it, but we’re also guaranteeing she wouldn’t be back in action without the support of family. And of course a “source” told People the same thing.
They said that her husband, Benji Madden, “is very excited for her. He encouraged her to unretire.”
Though we’d like to say ground breaking concept of a husband supporting their wife, it kinda is these days, so go Benji!
