The month of all things spooky is finally upon us. It truly feels like we blinked, and October was here. We have no complaints though because we love spooky seasons. One of the things that we love about it, other than Halloween is all the spooky films and shows on TV. One show we’re most excited about is Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
The anthology will debut on Tuesday, October 25, launching a special four-day, double-episode Netflix & Chills Halloween event. Two new episodes will debut daily through Friday, October 28, when the entire collection of eight stories will be available to Netflix members around the world.

We’ve been following all the news for this series and have loved getting all the first looks. As we’ve mentioned before, we’re fans of Del Toro and his work. He has such a creative mind and uniquely sees the world of horror. A new official trailer has finally dropped, and it looks creepy. There are so many celebrities in this anthology but the one we’re looking forward to seeing is Ben Barnes.
If you’ve been following us long enough, then you know that he’s one of our favorites. He’s a very talented actor and we enjoy him on our TV screens. The episode Barnes will star in was directed by Keith Thomas and is titled Pickman’s Model. The episode is based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft. Crispin Glover also stars.
A lot is going on in the trailer for this anthology and we know these stories are going to freak us out in the best way. We have tons of questions, especially watching Barnes’s moments in the clips from Pickman’s Model. For one thing, why does it look like he’s about to get his head cut off? we need answers.
