Well, I will be honest, I never thought that someone could make me not want to have ice cream, but here we are and now donuts and ice cream sound gross to me. I know, I know, it’s a travesty. I’m not disagreeing with you at all.
But Austin Butler talking about how he gained weight for Elvis has made my body not want to deal with eating either one of them again.
Butler has been making the rounds, doing press for the Oscars, and he talked with Variety about how he gained weight to play Elvis.
“I heard that Ryan Gosling when he was going to do The Lovely Bones, had microwaved Häagen-Dazs and would drink it. So I started doing that. I would go get two dozen doughnuts and eat them all. I really started to pack on some pounds,” he said to the outlet.
He continued, “It’s fun for a week, and then you feel awful about yourself.”
