After a whirlwind time in England, the girls are heading back to New York — at least for a little while — on The Buccaneers 1×04, “Homecoming.” Of course, the trip was already planned for Jinny’s wedding to Lord Seadown, but there will still be a grand celebration despite the couple’s elopement.
Considering all the changes to Nan, Jinny, Conchita, Mabel, and Lizzy’s lives throughout The Buccaneers‘s first three episodes, the friends could have a party for several reasons — all at once. Perhaps they will dance the night away to celebrate all of the milestones, or maybe it will be a party for the sake of it. After all, these five best friends know how to have a good time together!
Although, even with all the fun likely to come with a party during “Homecoming,” The Buccaneers‘s synopsis suggests the fourth episode will be rather tense, too. Finally reunited with Mrs. St. George for an extended period, Nan will seek answers from her family after Jinny told Nan that she is not biologically Patti’s daughter.
Also, the synopsis for “Homecoming” reveals that James begins to manipulate Jinny. However, James keeps Jinny isolated from her sister and friends during The Buccaneers 1×03, “The Perfect Duchess,” and his treatment of Lizzy is downright awful and predatory during The Buccaneers 1×02, “Women or Wives.” So, unfortunately, it seems more likely that his monstrous, as described by Honoria, behavior will only escalate.
