We’re almost to the end of Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise and there’s just something to say in its defense. It starts to get better and then makes sure that it takes a step back and it’s kind of disturbing how it doesn’t get what it should be. Instead it’s a show that I have decided is edited so poorly that it’s a disservice to its cast member.
Now that being said, it doesn’t mean that the cast is all that great. Some are just all over the place and most seem to not want to commit to telling their entire lives. However, if you are on reality television, you need to be open to sharing more. You need to give people a reason to root for you or remind them why they don’t want to. Either way these characters have left us indifferent or filled with a lot of dislike.
The person I can’t stand the most – Chambers.
SHE GIVES THE ICK
I believe the editors have caught on to the fact that no one really likes Elizabeth Chambers. The bakery owner is absolutely atrocious and treats her friends as if they are less than. Though, does she have friends? Because I don’t feel like she has anyone and that does make me sad for her. Yet, then when you see how she treats Julian, you know that there is just this level of coldness and dare I say evil in her. She doesn’t seem to care about anyone.
When she calls Julian over to talk about what happened, she’s quick to act like she’s a victim and then as if she owes no apologies. I am truly not trying to be a jerk, but the truth is, she owes a lot of apologies. It’s all she owes. She legitimately owes so many apologies that it is quite sad. She only called him over because she needs something, so she’s willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that she doesn’t have to deal with the things that she doesn’t want to deal with.
Bird Bakery is having its opening and she wants to make sure that it goes off without a hitch. Yet, she doesn’t want to have to hire anyone, so she tells Julian that he needs to step up and help. Who the he** does she think she is? Like he’s a good man, because he says that he will, but that just proves that he’s a good guy. Especially after she drops the bomb that she’s going out of the country and will be back just in time for the event (well morning of, but who knows with her).
Who knows? Well all of us should have known that she should have kept her rear end in Grand Cayman. She of course misses her plane and doesn’t show up to her event. She doesn’t even tell Julian that she missed her flight, he hears it second hand and then when he tries to call her she doesn’t even make it easy to get ahold of her. Instead he has to like stalker call her.
And then has to take up hosting the event.
FILLED WITH EMBARASSMENT
Chelsea has finally contacted Courtney and they make their apologies. As much as this back and forth with Chelsea all the time drives me insane, I do love the fact that these two are there for each other. They fight, they forgive, and move on. I hold a grudge, so here we are.
While they’re making their apologies and moving on, Courtney gets a phone call from Vic, who needs her girls. I can’t even imagine what she’s going through. I would have called off the wedding, but that’s me and probably why I am single.
I love when women support women and they all get together to support Vic. They are quick to be politically correct for her and not force a situation. Vic is not thrilled and is even madder at Dillion for not protecting and watching out for Trevor.
Anytime Dillion’s name is mentioned one should just realize they are going to be mad, because it’s a lot of bull crap happening. The man does not seem to know how to be a good person. He’s like the male version of Chambers. He’s decided that being a villain is what he wants to be.
Courtney telling Chelsea about Dillion’s “joke” where he said Tyson got his side piece prego (or whatever that girl was), Chelsea does handle it well. But she makes a valid point when she says that when there is drama, Dillion seems to always be at the center of it.
BACK TO THE BAKERY
So, Cass at the bakery tells everyone what Dillion had said. This infuriates Craig, because he knows what drama is like and what rumors can do. He even talked to Dillion about it and Dillion was there for him. So knowing that Dillion was starting this stuff, which isn’t funny and was cold AF, Craig says that he needs to talk to him.
Wait, is Craig redeeming himself? Cause it feels like it. Then again, when he sits down with Dillion, it feels like Dillion is digging his receding hair plugs in, because he says that he doesn’t care if Chelsea is upset and it’s not his fault if she can’t take a joke. Craig tries to tell him how bad it was, but he doesn’t care.
Dillion keeps repeating he doesn’t care. Well sir, you’re trash. You’re such trash for being like this. If I was Craig, I would have tossed him in the ocean, but that’s me. How he maintained his composure, I don’t understand, because Dillion is the WORST.
SELITA NEEDS MORE RECOGNITION
There is not enough written about what a gem this woman is and I am partially guilty of neglecting this. She’s just always there for everyone, she’s a voice of reason, and she makes so much sense.
When she reaches out to Chelsea, she’s so kind. She doesn’t want to get involved in drama but does want to protect others and make them realize their worth. I love and adore her.
