Erin Foster is quite entertaining. Though a lot of people will identify her by being her fathers daughter – we don’t. We have watched her Instagram long enough to know that she’s funny, creative, driven, and an individual. She’s not defined by her Dad (David Foster), but instead is defined by being Erin.
And Erin has created something that we’re really excited for. The producer/designer/podcast host (we could go on and on) created the show Nobody Wants This. The show stars Adam Brody and Kristen Bell and this should be enough to sell you on watching.
Nobody Wants This is a comedy centered on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Adam Brody).
“This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy. But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard. Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters.” Foster said exclusively to Tudum.
In addition to Bell and Brody, the show also stars Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Bearman. There was a recasting and Emily Arlook will recur on Nobody Wants This as “Rebecca,” Noah’s “perfect” Jewish girlfriend who has done “everything right” to get him to propose.
Netflix announced that the ten, thirty minute episodes show premiere on September 26th, 2024. We’ve marked our calendars. Have you?
