Sometimes you know that someone is so talented and the shows that they come up with are going to be shows that entertain you and make you fall in love. Well fall in lovewith the show that is. Clarification is needed, because like we’re about the bitter against love life today.
Kevin Williamson has created some of the shows that we love the most. Dawson’s Creek is a show that shaped us. Not to mention there were some other things that he was involved in that set a trajectory for who we would be become – Scream, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, Tell Me A Story...
You get the point.
At Netflix’s Upfront presentation, they announced Williamson’s next show, The Waterfront. The show received a series order and is a family drama, that will bring Williamson back to North Carolina where he filmed Dawson’s Creek.
The Waterfront is about a family, The Buckleys, and their attempts to remain in control of their family fishing business. Their crumbling empire drives them to use not so honest/great means to keep in control.
Sounds dramatic.
And well, you know dramatic is what we love.
