Yes, you’re hearing the echoes of a woman crying and that would be me. Hallmark, I don’t deserve you. I don’t deserve your greatness. Why am I crying? It is because of excitement. We’re getting a movie trilogy with Tyler Hynes, B.J Britt, and Jonathan Bennett.
I mean we all should have known that something was coming when Tyler Hynes started posting a lot of things on set from Greece and Bulgaria. We should have known that it was something big – but I blame him for us all not catching on. He’s the king of the thirst trap and we all look away from clues and our thirst is trapped.
The Groomsmen is Hallmarks first male focused trilogy. It takes viewers on the journey of a lifetime as three best friends come together to celebrate their wedding days in the breathtaking destinations of Greece, Italy and Bulgaria. As they navigate complex relationships with friends, love interests and family members, this movie trilogy is filled with heart, humor and charm. Pete (Britt), a kind-hearted pediatrician with a penchant for planning; Danny (Bennett), a baseball coach with a heart of gold; and Jackson (Hynes), a stylish and charming social media agent, lean on each other and draw strength from the bonds they share from the special brotherhood built over the years.
“We can’t wait for viewers to come along on these romantic journeys in new and fresh ways as we tell this story from the groom’s side for the first time ever,” began Philicia Kennedy-Flamer, Manager, Programming, Hallmark Media. “Jonathan, Tyler and B.J. are a dream team. Their performances are infused with a humor and warmth that brings these stories to life beyond our expectations and created something truly special.”
Lord, I am screaming and I am all in on this. What I love the most is that Hallmark is realizing that we want them always to be evolving. This trilogy, really diving into male emotions and male stories – I AM ABOUT IT.
