We’ve been anxiously awaiting the CBS Fall Premiere schedule and thanks to the 2024 Television Critics Association Tour, we have that information.
CBS today announced fall premiere dates for its five new and 15 returning series for the 2024-25 primetime schedule. Yes, FIVE new shows, including the anticipated new drama NCIS: ORIGINS starring Austin Stowell as a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs and narrated by Mark Harmon.
The official “CBS PREMIERE WEEK” kicks off with a full week of original episodes beginning Monday, Oct. 14. It kicks off with a NCIS night – the premiere of NCIS and two hours of NCIS: Origins.
Our NCIS loving hearts are looking forward to this as the fate of our Jimmy and Jess shipping hearts hangs in the balance (depending on what Jess decides).
The fall lineup includes two special “Sneak Peeks” prior to CBS PREMIERE WEEK: The new Thursday night drama series MATLOCK, starring Kathy Bates, on Sunday, Sept. 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the new Wednesday night action-adventure reality competition series THE SUMMIT, set in the New Zealand Alps and hosted by Manu Bennett, on Sunday, Sept. 29 (9:00-10:30 PM, ET; 8:30-10:00 PM, PT).
See the fall premiere schedule below so you can plan what you want to watch too!
I knew from the table read pics that Origins would be a 2 episode Premiere, glad to see CBS is being wise and airing both on the same night.
Hopefully the October start dates means that CBS is trying to reduce the number of breaks they make the shows take since most of these shows will be going back to the 20-22 episode orders.
