September can’t get here fast enough.
We’ve been anxiously awaiting more information on the second season of Tell Me Lies. It was definitely one of the best shows that we have seen come out of Hulu. We know that some will only remark on its toxicity and we’ll be the first to admit that it is really toxic.
What we loved was the acting, the script, and the way that a lot of it was things that we can relate to because it is things that happen in life.
September 4th will mark the return of the show to Hulu, with two episodes premiering that day. Each week after, until all eight episodes have aired, one episode will premiere.
We’re definitely looking forward to something not premiering all at once.
Season 2 of Tell Me Lies will start with Lucy Albright’s (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco’s (Jackson White) returning to college after their breakup at the beginning of the summer. A new year begins. What does it have in store?
Well the logline reads, ““Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s friend group, as the fallout from Season 1 impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.”
Starring alongside Grace Van Patten and Jackson White are Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook and Alicia Crowder.
Joining the cast this season is Tom Ellis (Lucifer) who is a really hot professor named Oliver, who is also married to Lucy’s professor, Marianne (Gabriella Pession). One of the main characters is seeking his approval and that may result in some represcussions.
Thomas Doherty (Gossip Girl) is in a recurring role as Leo. He’s returned from studying abroad and is drawn to Grace. We can’t wait for that.
Jacob Rodriguez and Katherine Hughes will also join the cast in recurring roles. Rodriguez (Attaway General) will play Chris, Lydia’s brother who is interested in attending Baird. Hughes will play Molly, a confident friend of Diana’s (Alicia Crowder) who takes an interest in one of the leading men and well, that’s probably going to lead to chaos.
