If we were celebrities, there would be no chance in hell that we would ever take a lie detector test for any outlet. You never know what is going to be asked or if what is going to be asked is something that will get you in a s**tload of trouble. After all things do happen, and if you have to admit to them – well that’s not a good time.
But when you’re Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, it’s definitely different. The two aren’t ever afraid to push boundaries and see where it will take them. That’s part of the joy of the two. They’re the best of friends, and you’d think they’d be safe when they are the two asking questions on a lie detector test.
You’d be wrong. The two did a lie detector test for Vanity Fair and well, Hugh asked Ryan a question we’ve all wondered for a long time. Back in 2014, there was some Deadpool test footage that was leaked and it was an instant hit. It was the fans response that got the movie made.
But we’ve all wondered for a long time, did Ryan have anything to do with it?
“That’s a great question,” Ryan answered, trying to avoid answering. “This is a great question. Pass.”
Well, though we’re thinking that he’s probably safe with what he does, definitely not a question we’d want to answer either. Jackman took the opportunity to remind him that he’s hooked up to a lie detector test.
“Well, for f**k’s sakes,” Reynolds answered. “I mean, I might have provided an assist.”
Ryan said that he didn’t upload the footage, but that he was “Scottie Pippen” and that he was doing his job, but you know, “someone else gets all the credit.”
