One thing that you can definitely say about Glen Powell is that he’s versatile. That’s what a movie star is though, right? And yes, before you say anything, we’ll die on the hill that Glen Powell is a movie star. For those of you that say that Tom Cruise is the last movie star, well… live in the delulu. It’s totally fine.
Powell has taken on a new role and we had to do a triple take, because we did not recognize him.
The actor has taken on the lead role in Hulu’s Chad Powers series. Deux Moi posted first look pictures of the actor on set (HERE) and he is unrecognizable. The actor will be joined in the comedy by is joined in the half-hour comedy by Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Wynn Everett, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Quentin Plair.
If you’re wondering what Chad Powers is about, “When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers. Based on the sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the Eli’s Places series, the half-hour comedy from 20th Television will stream on Hulu. Powell and Waldron co-wrote the pilot.”
After the pictures were posted, Hulu released a first look picture of the actor in full costume.

What do you think of the first look? Are you as shocked as we were? Did you have to do a triple take?
No word on when the show premieres yet, but we’re assuming since they just started filming it will be a bit. All we know is even though it is football, we will be watching. It’s Glen Powell, after all.
