Netflix is celebrating the holidays with Beyoncé during its first-ever live NFL Christmas Gameday. She is set to perform at halftime when the Houston Texans host the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium at 4:30 PM ET on Wednesday, December 25, on Netflix. The 11-time 2025 Grammy-nominated artist (Those nominations made Beyoncé the most nominated artist in Grammy history!) will perform songs from her record-breaking LP Cowboy Carter for the first time at the game in her hometown.
This Ravens-Texans halftime performance isn’t the first of Beyoncé’s NFL halftime shows. She headlined Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana, where Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined her onstage. In 2016, Beyoncé returned to the NFL halftime scene, performing with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in Santa Clara, California. Now, she’ll kick off what the NFL wants to be a new holiday tradition with Netflix.
Details around Beyoncé’s performance are under wraps, but she is expected to feature some special guests from Cowboy Carter. The genre-bending album features Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and Linda Martell. Beyoncé company, Parkwood Entertainment, and Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the halftime performance.

Beyoncé announced the performance with a short video on Instagram. Her halftime performance will occur during the second of Netflix’s two Christmas Day marquee games. First, the Super Bowl LVII-winning Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM ET.
Netflix has already set NFL games for 2025 and 2026 after announcing the streaming deal in May 2024. “We couldn’t be more excited to be the first professional sports league to partner with Netflix to bring live games to fans around the world. The NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans,” said Hans Schroeder, NFL Executive Vice President of Media Distribution.
The NFL kicked off Yuletide games in 1971, and they became a semi-regular event in 1989. Since 2020, the games have become a holiday staple. The NFL’s relationship with Netflix began with the docuseries Quarterback in 2023. In July 2024, Netflix released Receiver, following Davante Adams (Raiders), Justin Jefferson (Vikings), George Kittle and Deebo Samuel (of the 49ers), and Amon-Ra St. Brown (Lions) throughout the 2023 season. The Netflix Christmas Day games will air on broadcast TV in the competing team cities and be available on NFL+.
