These days lookalike contests are everywhere. We can respect the trends, but let’s be honest, half these people don’t look like a celebrity doppelgänger. However, if we’re focusing on the fun, who cares that they don’t look alike? Life is short, hold the contest.
From what we’ve seen the prizes are always around fifty bucks and something else along with it. Glen Powell though, wants to give something for his look-a-like contest.
Yesterday, in Austin, his was held. Hundreds of people, including Powell’s Mama and aunt, gathered at the Auditorium Shores in Town Lake Park. We absolutely love that his Mama and aunt helped to choose the winner of the contest.

Why wasn’t Powell there? He’s off filming The Running Man in England. That being said though, he did face time in and he added the prize that the winner would have a cameo in his next movie.
Yes, Powell had us all shocked over that one. What a prize that is and how amazing is he to offer that up.
The normal fifty-dollar prize wasn’t all that winner Max Braunstein, who won the contest received. He also got a cowboy hat, free Torchy’s queso for a year, and won his parents or any family member of their choice a cameo in my next movie.
The actor made a message for the contest, in which he joked that it was a Justin Hartley contest. In the video, he said, “I know there is some cash and a hat at stake here, but I just wanted to say that the winner of today’s contest gets a personal prize from me. Now, you may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make, but today, the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contest wins their parents or any family member of their choice a cameo in my next movie. I am completely serious. This is a cash-value prize of $6 billion.”
