Parents can be so cute and also sometimes a little bit, say what? First-time parents, well they toe the line between both, and yet, we’re smiling at them. Babies are a blessing. Do you want to know one new Dad that is definitely counting their blessings? Robert Pattinson.
The actor has been making the press rounds for his upcoming movie, Mickey 17, and was asked about being a Dad. He seemed to shine (though we didn’t see his face, it just sounded like it was because of what he said) when talking about his and Suki Waterhouse’s baby girl.
He said to Vogue, “I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder. But then I had a baby, and I was like ‘my baby smells incredible.’ “
Adorable, right? We think so. But we had to question ourselves because we definitely didn’t understand the next thing that he said. Something about how “there’s something there” in his daughter’s smell that “identifies her” because “she doesn’t smell like other babies.”
It’s definitely got to be a parent thing. Something that we don’t necessarily get, but hey, parents, we respect you.
