Shoot the bastard.
Man, I love Gabi and her desire to get rid of Sir. Especially in Found Season 2, Episode 10. I have long loved Mark-Paul Gosselaar, but him as Sir, I will pass. Sir scares the crap out of me.
That being said, he’s not the only person I am mad at here. I am mad at Trent because the things that he’s set in motion are going to destroy people. Trent was hurt, but what he did because of the pain that he felt – was uncalled for. I am not saying that Gabi doesn’t need to pay for her crimes, but I also hate this.
And I hate that Trent did this.
Now we’re sitting here with a limited amount of time before Gani is arrested and the whole world is turned upside down.
Man children, missing people, drama, manipulations, and lies – it’s all another day for Mosley and Associates. But one thing that I have to say is that I have never seen the team of M&A come together more than they have at this moment.
And for that I am thankful.
I am also thankful for Trent’s regret, but we’ll get there. We’ll definitely get there because this girl has a lot of feelings.

THE GUNSHOT
With the gunshot that went off at Trent’s, I would have been terrified to enter. I can’t even imagine what that panic for Gabi is like and I have bad panic attacks (meaning I can imagine most things).
Gabi is definitely stronger than most of us. She gets inside and sees them pointing guns at each other, she doesn’t even flinch. Sir, sees Gabi there and he thinks that he can tell her that it’s time for her to come with him.
While the Gabi/Sir dynamic always interests me – I don’t understand it. I don’t get him at all and I don’t understand how it is that she can figure out his every move. Is there something that we are missing? I like to think that I am a person who can pay attention to the clues.
Whoever is working with Sir is there and pulls him out.
Trent, you can see his concern and love for Gabi. When the police arrive to do whatever they do – that concern gets deeper. His boss thinks that Gabi must be working with Sir and tells Trent that it’s time to bring Gabi in.
Trent looks shattered. I feel like Trent is learning that he’s an idiot and that turning Gabi in was done from heartbreak. He is learning that everything is not black and white, but there are shades of grey. We can see that clearly when he hides the pictures of the children – the pictures that Sir said his father was involved in. If you recall, Sir told him his father didn’t investigate well enough and there was a serial kidnapper.
He buys Gabi twenty-four hours, which, okay, gives him a little bit of redemption in my eyes, but not much.
I do respect that he took Gabi home and told her how much time she had left. She didn’t seem surprised.
While I do not condone breaking the law – ever – I do think that Gabi has paid every day of her life since she escaped Sir. Also when Sir held her captive.

IT IS AN RV
Sir did not like being taken out of Trents without Gabi. He’s so mad that he’s making a mess everywhere, which is so unlike him.
Whomever he is working with seems to be over his connection to Gabi. One has to wonder if they know Sir at all. Gabi is the only person that man thinks of. When his brother comes to him for help, Sir won’t hear of it. Why? Because the only person that he thinks of is Gabi.
I would have thought that Christian was working with Sir, but I don’t think he doesn’t seem like he would ever be able to have any control over his brother. Sir flat-out hates his brother (you won’t be able to convince me of any other emotion he could feel for Christian).
Sir wants his little brother to respect him and what he’s done. However, both of these men live in a state of delulu and need help.
Christian notices that his brother is leaving so he calls his bluff. There is nothing more dangerous though, than someone with nothing left to lose. And Sir, he’s almost at that point.
The only thing that he thinks he has left to lose is Gabi, but he lost her a long time ago.
Seeing Sir exit the RV with his suitcase, I cringed. I do have to give credit where credit is due though, he seems to be a good packer. One carryon? I could never.

THE ETHAN OF IT ALL
It doesn’t surprise me that Dahn wanted to call Gabi as soon as he woke up. The surprise for me? Ethan told him to call. I had no idea that Ethan had it in him.
What I don’t pretend to understand about Ethan is that he’s known the man that he married. There is no surprise to me that he’s a jealous man, because hey, we’re all jealous (even if we don’t want to admit that kind of thing). Dahn and Gabi have a special relationship and are loyal to each other.
I consider loyalty to be one of the most important qualities for anyone to possess. I just don’t think that because Dahn is loyal to Gabi it means that he’s not loyal to Ethan also. Dahn wants to make a difference in the world and he doesn’t want people to go through the things that he has.
I don’t think it’s fair for Ethan to try and take that away by separating him from Gabi and I feel that’s what he’s trying to do.
It’s part of the reason that I think that Ethan is a prime candidate that could be working with Sir. I’d be interested to know who others think it is. I don’t think that Ethan is who he says he is.
Ethan did call Gabi in for a reason – he believes he’s got a case for her.

THE CASE
Ethan has a case. Let that sink in.
Ya, I was shocked too. Maybe it is because Dahn is in the hospital and he knows that he’s not going anywhere (theoretically). The thing about Dahn though, he’s not going to let getting shot keep him from being there for his friends.
The case? There is a college kid who is missing after a hazing ritual for a fraternity. There was a video taken and in the video, you see someone running out a window.
The frat – well these dudes are the absolute worst. They don’t seem to care that the pledge is missing and that the last place he was seen is at their frat. So where is he? What happened? These “dudebros” are of no help. The President of the frat is giving half statements and the other guy there seems to want to be punched in the throat, cause HE IS TRASH.
Margaret and Lacey are in the missing dude’s dorm room and listening to his roommate talk about school, how he’s tired, etc. Margaret’s Spidey senses see everything and she’s noticing medication, no architecture books, and spots the missing guy’s journal. The room is littered with a lot of caffeine receptacles, and the roommate is out of it.
As Gabi and the team hit the campus and made their way to meet up with Margaret and Lacey, I started laughing as the roommate became star-struck with Gabi – wanting the selfies and all. It just made me unable to stop laughing, but in the same breath, it goes to show how important she is to the world she exists in.

THE LOVE OF IT ALL
When Gabi and the team find a video of the missing guy, they see him with someone who is saying, I love you. I about fell off my bed as I saw that it was the fraternity president.
In the fraternity that they are in, being gay is frowned upon and the Frat President thought he had to keep it a secret. It’s when he opens up to Gabi and he sees how toxic it is – that dude-bros overhear him and try to shame him.
I will never, ever for the life of me understand the judgment over people loving someone. The sex of the person you love shouldn’t matter. I am aware that I can’t understand and that my thought on that is giving privilege and I am sorry for that. I am also sorry that we live in a world where loving who you love isn’t accepted.
When the team is given the missing guy’s phone, they can track him down. He was in an accident and was really close to freezing to death. But they got him to the hospital and that’s what matters.
When he came to – he was able to tell his parents he was gay and they were so accepting. They said that they’ve always known but wanted him to tell them and I respected these things about him.
I also loved how welcoming they were to his boyfriend. They just want their son to be happy and I think that’s the most beautiful part of parenting – that undying love that you give your kids and how if you can help it – you will never let them fall.
The whole reunion made me smile because sometimes a person just needs to know that they are LOVED no matter what.

THE PARTY
It’s been two years of M&A and the person that remembers is Lacey’s Mama. I love her, she’s been there for Lacey and Gabi no matter what. One thing that we’ve seen in every flashback is that those two are both her kids and she will be there for them both, unconditionally.
So when the team finds out that Gabi has less than twenty-four hours left before her arrest – Mom is SHOCKED that they are just giving up on Gabi. They needed to remember that Gabi would be there for them and would not go down without a fight.
The team at M&A is in desperate circumstances all the time and I get that. But I think it’s great that they are also reminded that they have to think past the case and remember that they have each other. They always have each other.
Sometimes it takes people saying or doing the worst things to you, for any person to see how the world works and to come to an understanding of the things that we aren’t seeing. I wouldn’t call anyone from M&A self-involved, but I also wouldn’t say that they aren’t either. It’s a weird line to toe because it’s hard to look at yourself.

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM… WELL WORK
But, when you do look at yourself and really see the things that you didn’t want to see, it can be an eye-opening experience. It becomes one that you have to look at the world. The group hadn’t been looking at the bigger picture, instead, they were wrapped up in their own worlds.
Did they have every right to be mad at Gabi? Yes. She did some horrible things and wasn’t honest with them. But she didn’t do that to hurt them, she did it in a moment of trauma. Yes, I believe that she kept Sir in her basement because of trauma.
Seeing the whole group come together was a beautiful thing. They all have to work together, find common ground, and know that they would do anything for each other.
Whatever happens next, it will happen. The thing is, as long as they are there for each other, they can get through anything.
And they will get through anything. Together.
It’s just going to be dramatic AF.

OTHER THOUGHTS
- I wonder how Sir thinks that Gabi would ever just give in and not try to find a way out of things – even if he gets her to Europe
- Christian never learns and he’s as trashy as his brother because he knows where his brother is and didn’t turn him in a long time ago
- The fact that as Trent is looking at the arrest warrant and gets a call they found the RV… I am hoping that Christian gets out because I don’t think he’s the one working with Sir and I don’t want them to see him and just think he’s the one
- Lacey is growing on me more – I feel like she’s becoming stronger
- Dahn needs to learn to stay in bed – especially after getting shot
- I want more background on Dahn and Gabi’s relationship
- The fact it ended with the RV being found – didn’t see that coming
- Am really shocked Ethan read the journal when Margaret asked
Found airs on Thursdays on NBC.
As frustratingly infuriating as it has been, I think Trent’s journey was necessary for him and Gabi to actually be “Endgame.” He can now relate to her actions and truly move beyond them in a way I do not think he would have been able to had he not experienced the awful spiraling that came from his decision to “drop the dime” on Gabi. Add to that whatever is going to unfold as a result of Sir’s revelations about his father, and the end result might be Trent and Gabi bonding in a way they never could have before, and becoming all the stronger for it.
I too love Lacey’s mom, she is awesome.
This episode did what I was not certain could have been done just a couple of episodes ago — it removed Trent and Margaret from my “F-You List.”
I think the Sir story-line as we have known it has to end this season. The questions are, 1) Will it continue via Trent’s investigation and the unresolved whodunnit of Sir’s partner? 2) Will Sir die, or will he escape, keeping the return of MPG a card in the show-runner’s back pocket? 3) Will NBC do the right thing and reward this awesome show with a renewal, or will they do their usual and screw things up?
