We’re not happy with The Way Home and it’s definitely for selfish reasons. Why are we so close to the season ending? We need more. We need a lot more. It isn’t that we’re trying to be greedy, it’s that we are truly invested in this show.
The Way Home is innovative. Yes, time travel has been done before, but also it hasn’t been done in this way. This way feels unfamiliar and as if the mystery isn’t about the time travel and how it is done, but more about how these characters affect the past, present, and future.
We also question everything, whereas we didn’t always question everything in other time travel movies.
This week’s episode is entitled, Ain’t No Sunshine. It is about, “Kat and Jacob uncover a dark moment in Port Haven’s past. Elliot reckons with his past and fate, while Alice worries about what her future might hold.”
