The Sekai Taikai and All Valley in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3

After Kwon’s tragic death in the previous part, in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 the celebration of the Sekai Taikai was in doubt. Daniel, still shocked and traumatized by what happened, had his reservations about going ahead with the competition. He didn’t want to even talk about it. And that’s completely normal. After all, he saw before his eyes how a young man, blinded by rage and violence, died without being able to prevent it. And he knows that he can’t trust Silver.
However, the return of the tournament becomes an opportunity to pay tribute to Kwon and show that karate can be a path of discipline and honor, not just violence and revenge. In addition, it’s also an opportunity to finish what they started, since the future of Robby and Tory depends on what happens in the competition, and they cannot simply leave them behind. Finally, Daniel accepts and the Sekai Taikai is held in the Valley, becoming a key event that will mark the destiny of all.
While this happens, Master Kim, Kreese, and Kim Dae-Un, along with all their students, say goodbye to Kwon. But his death changed the alliance they maintained. Kim feels that she failed her students, focusing more on revenge that wasn’t hers than on leading them to victory. Meanwhile, her grandfather mourns the loss of a great soldier like Kwon and wants revenge, he wants blood. Master Kim not only wants to win the Sekai Taikai, but he wants to crush all his enemies.
Kreese, for his part, has finally realized that the path of violence and hatred only leads to more violence and blood. He used Kwon — as well as Tory — for his revenge and that ended in his death. So he vows to change. No more violence. It’s time to make amends. He starts with Tory. She’s on the ropes thanks to him always using her for his purposes, the least he can do is sign up for the Sekai Taikai so she can fight, even if he’s not her sensei anymore.
However, Kim and Kreese’s visions dictate much of Master Kim’s in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 and, while Kreese is no longer affected by it, Kim must make a difficult decision. If she lets her grandfather continue to control the dojo, it will only lead to more death, suffering, and pain. So she decides to kill him. And we think that is the right decision. Now, she will be able to run the dojo in her own way.

Old Rivalries in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3

Terry Silver, on the other hand, has little to lose in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 due to his illness — we may know too mean, but we’re not sorry about it at all. Still, he makes sure he dies trying to wipe out all of his enemies first. He gets the Sekai Taikai back and his Iron Dragons students to make it to the end, but when nothing goes his way, he’s determined to play dirty.
Luckily, it’s Kreese who stops him. He knows him well enough to know that he’s not going to let it go, he’s not going to let Johnny and Cobra Kai win, he’ll do whatever it takes to stop it. But Silver didn’t count on one thing: there’s nothing Kreese wouldn’t do for Johnny. He’s like his son, always has been, and while he’s never known how to love him healthily or how to support him, he’s always been willing to give his life for him.
As much as Kreese has tried to see Johnny as an enemy to beat, he never quite succeeded because he loves him too much. In a twisted and wrong way, but he does. However, Kreese is aware of the damage he did to him and how it all started after Johnny lost the fight against Daniel at the All Valley. At that time, Johnny needed Kreese to be his sensei, his support but, on the contrary, he found a monster who despised him, treated him like a weak man, and left him alone.
The wounds from that night have accompanied Johnny all these years, as he could not stop feeling like a failure and hating Daniel just for having a better life than him, thinking that Daniel always wanted to throw his success in his face. Finally, in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 Johnny finds the strength to accept not only how much Kreese’s words and lack of support hurt him, but the courage to forgive him. Johnny only asks for one thing: Cobra Kai.
He revitalized the dojo at the beginning of this story to be a sensei in his own way, and then Kreese came along and took it away from him. Despite including Miyagi-Do in his teachings, Johnny never stopped being a Cobra Kai at heart. And now that Miyagi-Do can no longer compete, Johnny needs this, he needs to be a Cobra Kai again and be able to make up for that lost All Valley, as a symbol of all his growth. Kreese agrees without hesitation.
After something like that, Kreese is not going to let Silver attack Johnny or his family in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3. So he makes sure that Silver can never hurt him again. And we are Team Kreese! The only thing we regret about this scene is that Kreese fell too because we would have liked to see more of this newly redeemed man.

Iron Dragons Vs Cobra Kai

As for the Sekai Taikai, it doesn’t disappoint, offering some of the most impressive fights of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3! Not only that, we were surprised that Sam decided not to fight but it makes sense. After all, karate was never her path, not like for Robby or Tory, for whom karate became an integral part of who they are. And after how far she and Tory have come… she simply doesn’t want to fight her anymore. And it’s the right decision.
But, beyond the fights, what Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 gave us was a beautiful scene between Johnny and Robby. They also fought a lot to get here. Johnny was a mess and didn’t know how to approach his son or how to be the father he needed, so he didn’t even try. And Robby felt alone, abandoned by his parents, and had a lot of resentment towards them. A resentment that impelled him to make bad decisions and be self-destructive.
Now, Johnny can show his son how much he loves him and how proud he is of the man he has become, and Robby has been able to forgive all of his father’s mistakes and have a relationship with him, feeling loved by him and by his newfound family. And we’re sobbing!
Johnny would do anything for his family but he has a weak point: his feeling of inferiority, feeling like he’s a failure that no one could love. And Silver knows it. He manages to get into his head in that last and decisive fight, throwing him off-center.
Suddenly, Johnny couldn’t stop seeing in front of him the boy who lost to Daniel in All Valey so long ago… and every failure that came after. But Daniel manages to get him out of there. He doesn’t believe in the Cobra Kai philosophy but he knows that Johnny needs that shock treatment to react. There is no defeat in Cobra Kai. There is no compassion. And we really love seeing Daniel supporting Johnny like that. It’s like the perfect symbol of their friendship.

An Unbreakable Friendship

The final scene of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 is, without a doubt, one of the most satisfying moments. Johnny and Daniel, now true friends and partners in teaching karate, have breakfast together. There is no competition between them, no hard feelings, just mutual respect. Their styles are no longer a threat but complement each other perfectly. It’s an ending that perfectly encapsulates the journey of these two characters: rivals turned friends, each respecting the other’s path, but finding a middle ground where they can both coexist.
Ultimately, Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 delivers everything we could wish for: epic fights, moments of growth and redemption, shocking sacrifices, and a satisfying ending for its characters. While it leaves some doors open for the future, it feels like the perfect closure for this story that began in 1984 with The Karate Kid.

Other Stuff in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3

- We loved the ending for all the characters, although we wanted to see more of Chozen and Kim.
