Following the events of The Rookie Season 7 Episode 8, in The Rookie Season 7 Episode 9 ‘The Kiss,’ The entire team is dedicated to finding whoever was responsible for the shooting that killed Kylie and left James—fingers crossed—alive by the skin of his teeth. This is going to be a very difficult time for Nyla. Knowing her, she’ll want to hit the streets to find the responsible for her husband being in this situation, but she’ll also want to be by James’ side.
Plus, somehow the kiss between James and Kylie becomes public knowledge and that makes Nyla suspicious of what happened. Because of that, she will have to face another problem…and the fact that Nolan knew about that kiss. Which seems insane to us. Also, when the time comes, we really hope she lets James explain. He didn’t do anything wrong. As for Chenford, they both said a lot of things to each other thinking they might die in that fire, and we can’t wait to see them work from there.
Elsewhere, in The Rookie Season 7 Episode 9 ‘The Kiss,’ Celina takes on a case for the first time. And she’ll have some unexpected help: Bailey. We’re excited to find out what brought them together and what their dynamic is like!
