“BRACE FOR IMPACT!”
How many times have we heard Captain Massey say those words since Doctor Odyssey Season 1 began? We’ve lost count at this point. With just one Episode till the season finale, we thought the crew would get a break from all the craziness. But that’s not the case with Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 17, ‘The Wave.’
After Max laid his cards on the table and told Avery he was in love with her, he didn’t get the response he’d hoped for. Knowing she’s now being physically intimate with Tristan has been hard for him to take. And the ship has gotten too small for the three of them. This is probably why he decided to get off the ship and spend the day away from the duo. Unfortunately, the peace he seeks will be short-lived once an earthquake hits.
How on earth could this impact him and the others? Well, the earthquake caused a tsunami warning. Add to that a man with an injured knee who needs help to make it back to port in time before the ship leaves. From what we can see in the preview, Max and everyone on land, as well as those on board the ship, don’t have a lot of time. And those waves did not come to play.
As this will be a two-part Episode of Doctor Odyssey, we do not doubt that a lot of drama and danger will unfold. Will everyone make it back to the ship safe and sound? More importantly, will Avery’s fears that she could possibly lose Max force her to confront her feelings?
