The end of Outlander is approaching, and new projects for its stars are starting to arrive. This time, it’s Caitríona Balfe’s turn. She co-stars with Orlando Bloom in his new film, The Cut. In the film, she plays Caitlin, the team leader who accompanies a former boxing champion (Bloom) in his fight to return to the elite.

So she’s the first to tell him there’s no shame in taking a step back if it’s what’s best for him. And she’s the only one who looks out for him amidst a snake pit that’s willing to do anything for the former champion to shine again. Even if it destroys his own life in the process.
Thus, Bloom’s character has to decide whether to fall into the spiral of self-destruction offered to him when it seems to be his only path back to the elite, or whether he prefers to listen to Caitlin.
