Aidan Turner is one of those actors that makes us weak in the knees. His acting, his voice, his hair (yes, we love the hair) – are just a few things that we love about the Irish actor. Another thing to love about him? We get to see him on one of our favorite television shows.
We don’t have time to cover all shows, but we wish we did. The Diplomat is one of those ones that we really love and Turner has joined the cast of the third season. His character will be recurring.
We just hope he’s a good guy. Then again, if it’s politics, then we don’t see that happening. Is anyone really good in politics?
Details about his character are being kept under wraps. Though sometimes we love when that happens – in this case we really would love to know more. The actor will be joining Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, and Ato Essandoh as well as returning recurring actors Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Nana Mensah and Miguel Sandoval.
With the third season, we’re interested to see how it plays out. The season two cliffhanger of the President dying, accusing the VP of some henious s*** and there will be hell to pay. But what it is, we have to wait to see.
We do know that Kate Wylers life will always be complicated. That’s kind of the beauty of who she is.
The 8-episode third season of The Diplomat will premiere on Netflix on October 18th.
