Chicago Fire Season 14, Episode 1 ‘Kicking Down Doors,’ brings us back to a Firehouse 51 that’s going to look a little different going forward. No Ritter. No Carver. A brand new firefighter in Sal Vasquez (Brandon Larracuente). And there’s the promise Herrmann made to Mouch, which could leave them in very different spots than we’re used to seeing them.
Not to mention Stella and Kelly are having a baby (!!!). A lot is coming, and we’re not sure we really like all of it, but we’re going to see it through. Just, please, let’s give Ritter a proper sendoff. And don’t break our hearts too much with Carver? That feels like a lot to ask, but we’re asking nonetheless.
