The networks are already gearing up for the new year with midseason 2026 TV schedules being dropped!
CBS is the only network that has yet to release its schedule, but it will debut shows such as CIA and Y: Marshals.
So you don’t miss a thing, here are the full Midseason premiere dates for the shows we cover in ABC, NBC, and FOX. We’ll update this post when we have new schedules. All times are in ET.
ABC
ABC kicks off strong in January with the return of High Potential with a new time. The same day, The Rookie Season 8 and Will Trent Season 4 premiere. The following day, Shifting Gears and Abbott Elementary return. On Thursday, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville, Grey’s Anatomywill launch their new episodes. From there, we jump to February 25th with the double episode premiere of the new series Scrubs. The full list is below:

NBC
Time for NBC! The network kicks off its midseason schedule earliest. On January 5th, there’s a triple premiere with the return of St. Denis Medical and Brilliant Minds, and the premiere of The Wall. Two days later, One Chicago returns to dominate Wednesday nights and entertain us like never before.
The following day, Thursday, January 8th, Law & Order, The Hunting Party, and Law & Order: SVU follow suit with the premieres of their new episodes. After that, we jump to January 16th with the premiere of new episodes of Happy’s Place and Stumble. Then, almost a month later, on February 23rd, comes the premiere of The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. The full list is below:

FOX
Fox is next on the list of networks with its schedule. It all kicks off on Monday, January 6th, with the premiere of a new series, Best Medicine. Also on the same day, Doc returns with new episodes. After that, we jump to January 15th with two back-to-back premieres: Animal Control Season 4 and Going Dutch Season 2. At the end of January comes the premiere of Memory of a Killer.
Almost a month later, on February 15th, animation returns to Fox with the premiere of Family Guy Season 24. And a week later, on February 22nd, new episodes of American Dad! arrive. Following this, Fox waits until March 22nd to premiere its new show, The Faithful. The full list is below:
