We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Best Scene of the Week

Raquel: Brian’s confrontation with Lovat in Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 7. Lovat was genuinely panicked, and I enjoyed seeing him like that—frightened and swallowing hard.
Jennifer: I really loved the reunion scene between Mickey and Wes in Season 2, Episode 4 ‘Maria.” The last conversation they had before Wes got kidnapped by the Bulgarians sounded a lot like a goodbye. Mickey said she didn’t want anything to do with her father after his bizarre lies got out of control. So, to watch her exhale and run to Wes as he stumbled out of the woods was really sweet.
Absolutely, we still want to see Wes grovel for his daughter’s affection and forgiveness. Because we know he loves her with everything he has but has complicated ways of showing it. As a whole, this scene was proof that Mickey’s love for her father is everlasting. Being faced with the possibility of losing him forever put their relationship into perspective. In the end, Wes will always matter to her despite their hardships.
Rachel: This week, I think I’ll go with the moment when Jane (Hope Davis) is confronting the disgraced Air Marshal who is helping hijack the plane she is on in this week’s episode of Line of Fire. Her ex-husband and her children can hear her over the phone as she reveals emotions that we know are difficult for her. It’s an emotional and tense moment that is the crux of the whole episode.
Ship of the Week

Raquel: Brellen from STARZ’s Blood of My Blood! I mean, Brian got the stone from the bridge where they first met to serve as the foundation stone for the home they’ll share together. Is there even any competition?
Jennifer: Boone and Mickey has potential to be a great slowburn and we got some angst on Sheriff Country this week. I can’t stop thinking about their argument in her office. Initially, she was upset about his handling of solving a murder case but he didn’t want to be lectured.
Not when he took the case to lift burdens off her back in the midst of finding the missing girls. They pointed fingers, yelled at each other, and Boone admitted that he’ll always help her even if she never asks for it. Honestly, I’ll be thinking about Boone saying “I pulled myself out of a hospital bed for you” till next episode.
Rachel: I’m going to choose the Fisherwoman and her Wicker Husband from Wicker. The marketing team knew what they were doing when they released that poster that looks like a romance novel cover. When he says things like, “I was made to be with you” and “You are the reason I live and breathe,” well, that’s what a fictional ship is all about.
Best Performance of the Week

Raquel: Allegra Edwards from Eternally Yours! I love her!
Jennifer: Jake’s speech to the victims of the trailer park fire in Season 5, Episode 4 “Winners and Losers” really stuck with me. Jordan Calloway did a great job in making us feel Jake’s internal struggle to say how he feels so victims felt seen while also making sure they understood why being a firefighter means making difficult choices sometimes.
Seeing Jake own up to his actions shows that he’s confident in himself which we loved. He’s great at his job because he follows protocol. But also because he never forgets that every home he comes across matters to someone even if he’s unable to save it.
Rachel: Olivia Colman in Wicker. She proves why she’s one of our greatest living actors as the Fisherwoman. The scene where She tries to tell the Wicker Husband that she only had him created as a laugh to stick it to the snotty women in the village was an incredible moment from her. But the entire performance throughout the film was impressive.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week

Raquel: Ellen apologizing for the miscarriage—which Lovat had caused her—and “understanding” if Brian wanted to leave her. As if she had lost her worth because she couldn’t have children.
Shana: At the beginning of this season of Drag Race UK, I actually applauded KY Kelly for setting a boundary when it came to fat jokes. I take it back. I feel like an idiot for ever thinking she could possibly be anything other than the villain, especially when she fixated on Paris Baby the way she did until Paris Baby left, then actually kept bringing up an incident that actually triggered Mocha even after Mocha explained that part. And I absolutely can’t fathom the arrogance of clapping back at the judges the way she did after her mean-spirited so-called roast.
If this is what you can expect from a KY Kelly show, I’m eternally grateful I’ll likely never have the opportunity. Like, if you can’t even handle critiques from judges (who also happen to be producers!) on a reality show, what are you even doing here? There’s a time, a place, and—most importantly—a way to speak up and defend yourself. This wasn’t it. A lot of the behavior this season wasn’t it.
Quite frankly, it’s a shame she “only” had to deal with RuPaul and Michelle instead of, like, Mama Pao and Rajo Laurel from Drag Race Philippines. So, to borrow some quotes from them: “I don’t love it, I don’t like it.” “And this is trash.”
Good riddance.
Rachel: Vision and Thomas should’ve hugged during that one moment in the sixth episode of VisionQuest. You know which one I’m talking about. THEY SHOULD HAVE HUGGED.
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “So, you don’t think my work is important? Well, it’s important to me, and that should be enough.” – Liz to Charles in Eternally Yours Season 1 Episode 4.
Jennifer: “Family is about being there for each other through thick and thin.” – Skye on Sheriff Country.
Shana: “Dear Olivia. I love you. Always and forever, Mom.” BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT OLIVIA BENSON ACTUALLY DESERVED WHEN SHE WAS GROWING UP.
