If you are like most of the Netflix watching community of 2018, then you probably fell in love with biggest ship of the year just like we did. As To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before hit your screens, bringing Peter Kavinsky and Lara Jean Covey to the forefront of book-to-screen romances, it was hard not to feel your heart flutter as they navigated their less than conventional relationship. From LJ’s love letters, to PK’s secret pining for her, they were easily one of the best ships of the decade.
Therefore, as Valentines Day approaches, as well as the second installment of their story with PS. I Still Love You comes to Netflix February 12, it is only fitting that we recap our Top 10 Moments that PK and LJ made us swoon HARD.
The First Kiss
Okay, so it wasn’t technically their first kiss. Said first kiss happened in 7th grade with a rousing game of Spin the Bottle, thus starting a love affair years in the making. But the second kiss was so much better: funny, unexpected (for Peter, anyway) and the launching point of everything that came afterwards. Lara Jean may have just been trying to save face in front of Josh, but it was still the moment that most of us squee’d at our screens, knowing what was to come.

The Contract
I mean, what solid relationship doesn’t start with a well thought out, mutually agreed upon set of rules? At least, when you’re Lara Jean. When the two agree to ‘fake date’ to keep LJ’s previous crush on Josh at bay, and to make PK’s ex (uber mean girl, Gen) jealous, it only makes sense to set some ground rules. There is the no kissing rule, the allowance of Peters hand in Lara Jean’s back pocket. But the part that really got our hearts twittering is their banter over favorite movies. Sixteen Candles vs. Fight Club. It couldn’t have been more fitting to their personalities, and their burgeoning relationship when they agreed to watch each others films. Plus, what better way to have date night than a movie double header?

When Peter Calls Lara Jean ‘Covey’
Sure, this one isn’t a particular moment, since he calls her Covey pretty often, but we freaking love it. It is cute, fun and endearing, showing his playful side and bringing out LJ’s interest. From the moment she almost runs him over in the parking lot (‘whatever you say, Covey’) to the final scene (‘you gonna break my heart, Covey’) we sigh with heart eyes every time he says her name.

When Peter is Sad When Lara Jean Reminds him “We’re Just Pretending”
It was clear before that particular scene in the diner that Peter had fallen head over lacrosse stick for our very own Lara Jean. But there is still something to be said for the hopeful puppy eyes of a love sick boy as the sweet girl across from him remains oblivious to his adoration. As Peter points out that Lara Jean doesn’t seem to have a problem being with him, she replies easily with ‘We’re just pretending.’ As his face falls, I think there was a collective ‘Ugh!’ that rippled across the Netflix universe, followed quickly by watchers ready to jump in and console PK.

Two Words…Hot Tub
This entire scene is what those of us who read the books had been waiting for. Lara Jean taking a risk with her heart, and stepping outside of her comfort zone had us all cheering. And of course…Peter Kavinsky in a hot tub. Everything about that deserves to be on this list. From the moment he pointed out that he wanted to sit with LJ on the bus, to the sweet, vulnerable look he gives her once the walls have fallen, it was exactly what we wanted and more.
