You know that we love Christmas movies like no other. Lifetime, Hallmark, Freeform – it doesn’t matter. We’ll take them all.
Give us the cheese.
All of it.
Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have a pretty good idea for a new Christmas movie. And you know with what is going on in the world today – that shit involves quarantine.
So sign us up.
The two of them were promoting their show, Friday Night In With Morgans, and started talking about their idea for a Christmas movie. A quarantined Christmas movie.
Lord, we admit that we would love to see this – but not the PG kind. Like if you’re quarantined for 70 plus days, you know there will be some freaky shit going on.
“We’d been doing our development and writing all winter, and it’s going to be a change,” she shared. “I’ve been pushing for Lifetime to do some more unscripted kind of stuff. We had done an unscripted special when we did our big One Tree Hill reunion Christmas movie and that did well!”
Hillary continued, “people like connecting with people who make these Christmas movies. So perhaps we’ll switch over to some unscripted stuff this year, and then next year we will start filming as soon as we get the green light and it will be an avalanche of Christmas. I promise.”
Yes. Yes please.
“Maybe you do a Christmas movie doing quarantining and social distancing…How do people fall in love and sell Christmas trees…when you can’t see people?” Jeffery added in.
We have some ideas.
Friday Night In With the Morgans airs on AMC.
