We are suckers for Jane Austen around here, and we’ll take any and all adaptations of her books. And yes, of course, we have our favorites (there’s a good discussion to be had as to which version of Pride and Prejudice is best), but we’ll admit we didn’t think the 2020 version of Emma was going to make it into our list.
And then we watched it. And after that we watched it again. And again. I’m on like my eight watch, and I don’t even regret it.
We’re in quarantine! And also …it’s Jane Austen done right: with heart, joy and that spark that makes you feel like you know these characters, like they can be your friends.
