I am rarely excited over everything and I am hesitant to fall in love with any television show.
But you combine my favorite things and I am a goner before it even hits the air. Emily in Paris will be one of those things.
Paris is my second favorite city on the planet. Lily Collins os one of my favorite people.
Netflix announced today that the series, which comes from creator Darren Star will be coming to the streaming service this fall. There will be ten episodes.
Emily, an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.
Sign me the fuck up.
To make it even better, the series was filmed entirely on location in Paris and throughout France. Ah, take me back to France.
