If you know anything about me, you know that my obsession with Normal People is real. The show is one of the most beautiful things to come out of 2020.
And along with the beauty of Normal People, we were given the gift of two actors that we need to give all the praise and love to. One of those being Paul Mescal.
He’s my new crush, and by new I mean my 2020 crush. And now my 2020 crush is making his feature film debut.
Paul has joined the cast of The Lost Daughter, which will be the directorial debut for Maggie Gyllenhaal. He’s joining some pretty major talent in the movie. Olivia Colman, Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, and Peter Sarsgaard are all starring in it.
The Lost Daughter tells the story of a college professor (Colman) whose own psychological trauma begins to resurface after meeting a woman (Johnson) and her young daughter while on summer vacation.
I have to go pick up the book (which is written by best-selling author Elena Ferrante) and read it. Cause you know Paul in a movie, I am not going to miss it.
Have you read The Lost Daughter? Are you a fan of Pauls? Tell us all the things.
