As you may know the teaser trailer for Netflix’s most anticipated series Shadow and Bone based on the popular book series by Leigh Bardugo, was released during the IGN Fan Fest. The trailer was AMAZING and we haven’t stopped watching it since. One of the best things about teaser trailers is always fan reactions but with Shadow and Bone, we got something even better, a cast reaction video.
Cast members Jessie Mei Li (Alina Starkov), Ben Barnes (General Kirigan AKA The Darkling), Archie Renaux (Malyen Orestev), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Amita Suman (Inej Ghafa), and Kit Young (Jesper Fahey) all recorderd their reactions for the fans and they were incredibly entertaining.

We loved everyone’s reactions in this video and we have no shame in admitting we watched it over and over so we could focus on each cast members reaction one by one. Everyone had some great reactions but our personal favorite moments were Ben Barnes and Freddy Carter holding their breath as the ship heads into the shadow fold, Kit, Amita and Freddy seeing themselves as “The Crows” and that little moment at the end when Ben looks directly into the camera as his character “The Darkling” works his dark magic.
We can’t think of a time when we have ever seen a video of the cast of anything reacting to the show or movie they are in and after watching this one, we want more moments like these.
