Who isn’t awaiting more of The Crown? If you aren’t, we don’t understand you and we feel like that you’re missing out on great television.
Netflix announced that the series will start filming its fifth season in July and it will have an all new cast.
The new cast of The Crown is impeccable and includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret.
Season 5 will start in the 1990’s which as we all know was quite a dramatic time for the family – Prince Charles and Princess Diana‘s relationship especially. The events led to their divorce.
The Crown is set to end with Season 6. Though we all wish that it would go into the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle era, the creator recently said why that wouldn’t happen.
