Netflix always gets the best gems. Those movies that touch your heart and leave you with a lump in your throat and a hopeful smile on your face. Blue Miracle is just that kind of movie. We had the opportunity to speak with one of its stars, Miguel Ángel García, about his experience in this incredible movie and what moved him the most about this story that needed to be told.
First of all, a little background doesn’t hurt, right?
The incredible true story of Casa Hogar, the Mexican boys home that entered the world’s biggest fishing tournament to save their orphanage.
And now, our exclusive interview with Miguel Ángel García!
As you have seen, Miguel Ángel is super sweet and I absolutely loved all his answers. I couldn’t help but tell him because I could only nod to what he was saying while I was thinking, “yeah, you’re right, amen to that.”
This interview was one of the ones that I enjoyed the most because Miguel Ángel and I are fellow countrymen! We’re both from Spain and also from nearby cities. It’s always a pleasure to see countrymen living their dream and from here we wish him all the success because he deserves it.
We can’t wait to see his new show and we love hearing him talk about Blue Miracle, it shows that this story really touched his heart and we can all relate to that. We said goodbye in Spanish because it couldn’t be otherwise and it was especially exciting to do so.
Watch Blue Miracle, you will not regret it, you are going to love it. You’re going to cry, of course, but it will be those tears that come with a smile and are cathartic.
