With Artistic Gymnastics having come to a close at the Tokyo Olympics, we have to admit, we’re kinda sad about it. This Olympics has been unlike any other and that’s not a bad thing. It’s shown us how strong Olympians are, how they are willing to fight for themselves and each other and stand up for what is right.
Probably the most inspirational to us has been Simone Biles. She changed the game by putting herself first. She put her mental health first and though there were people that chastised her for it, personally she inspired me and millions of people.
The video is about Simone‘s time at the Olympics, narrated by Taylor Swift, and for us this line rang true, “throughout the last week, her voice has been as significant as her talents. Her honesty as beautiful as the perfection that had long been her signature.”

The video makes us cry every single time we watch it. It’s beautiful, but also captures how so many of us feel about Simone Biles and how she changed the game this Olympics.
“But don’t you see, she is perfectly human,” Taylor continued in the video. “And that is what makes it so easy to call her a hero.”
Simone took to Twitter to respond to the video and Taylor quote tweeted her.
