You can’t deny that Kaitlyn Dever is one of the most talented young actresses around. She picks dynamic roles, ones that make a difference, and ones that you can tell that she believes in.
The starlet is in the upcoming movie, Dear Evan Hansen, which if you have seen the Broadway play, you know that it’s got a very emotional storyline.
The basic premise is, “A high school senior suffers from social anxiety disorder which leads him to struggle at school. His journey of self-discovery and acceptance begins following the suicide of a fellow classmate.”
But it’s definitely deeper than that. It’s a hard story to watch, one that brings out all of the emotions that you didn’t know that you could feel, and trust me – it will make you cry.
Kaitlyn is on the cover of Shape Magazine and talked with the outlet about the choices she makes in roles and why Dear Evan Hansen is important.
“People will connect with Dear Evan Hansen because this is a musical that lets us feel less alone and less isolated — especially during a time when we’ve all felt disconnected from our loved ones. And we’ve lost so many lives during the past year. Now more than ever, this movie needs to be told.” Kaitlyn shared with the outlet.
Dear Evan Hansen was one of the best things that I have ever seen on Broadway and I am excited to see it come to the screen. Are you?
