We all dream. Yes, we don’t always remember our dreams and I think that, for me, it’s my minds way of protecting me. I also think that my mind enjoys giving me some second hand embarrassment, because those inappropriate dreams are the ones I remember.
Hey, we all have them.
Celebrities too.
Bethany Joy Lenz was on her Drama Queens podcast with co-stars Hilarie Burton Morgan and Sophia Bush (the three host it together), where she talked about having romantic dreams about their co-star, James Lafferty. Which, hey if we’re being honest – I have been there Bethany.
“James and I always got on really well, but he was a lot younger than me. It just didn’t really occur to me to have personal, romantic feelings for him,” she said, “But as the show went on and the more time we spent together, I would totally have, like, a romantic dream about him and wake up and be like, ‘Oh! Wow, that was interesting.’”
Interesting wasn’t a reaction that I personally had about any dream that was romantical, but it’s definitely an interesting choice of words. What does interesting in this context mean?
Look, Naley was part of the reason that I loved One Tree Hill so much. They were a couple with a lot of issues, but they made it through those issues and in the end, their love was a guiding light for them both.
It was important to us all.
“We’re kissing all day! We’re, like, making out and being all lovey-dovey, of course it’s gonna work its way into your subconscious. But we never ever got together in real life and that’s, honestly, probably what kept the chemistry alive onscreen for so long.” she added.
Well, I know that I am thankful that the chemistry between the two was kept alive. I lived for it. Did you?
