Tormenting babysitters was something that most of us did as a child (well, until we became babysitters ourselves). We liked who we liked, hated who we hated and made our feelings known.
While doing press for Barbie, Margot Robbie was on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, and well, she talked about a prank she pulled on a babysitter as a child. And well, lets just say that she’s pretty much always had a flair for the dramatics.
We’ve all not liked a babysitter, but can confirm have never gone this far. Mostly cause we weren’t that innovative as kids and well, if we were our parents would have whooped our ass.
“We got a new babysitter and I wanted my old babysitter back, Talia, who was like 16. I thought she was so cool,” she started, telling the story that is well… dramatic and also showcases her flare and that acting was meant to be a part of her life.
She continued, “We got this much older lady in, and I was just not happy about it. She told me to go have a bath, and I didn’t want to and she was very cranky and I thought, ‘I’m going to show you.’”
“So I got a big kitchen knife and the ketchup and I sprawled out naked on the tiles, covered myself in ketchup, put the kitchen knife, and I waited like 45 minutes for her to find me.”
Our parents would have beat our a**. It apparently took a bit for the babysitter to find her, but Robbie did say it was “worth the wait.”
And what happened to the babysitter? Well she said that the babysitter ran “screaming from the house.”
As we would have too had we been the babysitter. We would have never come back.
