We’re not saying that Bethenny Frankel is the worst person ever, but we are saying that she’s the best. We’re saying that she will do whatever takes to remain relevant and what better way to do that than to ride the back of Scandoval for as long as possible.
That included doing Rachel Leviss’ first tell all interview. We don’t think that anyone would have thought that would go over well, especially with Bethenny. We can understand that maybe Rachel thought that a woman would take more care telling her story, but we still think that anyone would have been better than Bethenny.
So we’re not surprised that the cast of Vanderpump Rules wouldn’t be happy about the interview and we’re glad that Ariana Maddix said something about the interview while on the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast.
She’s right when she said that Bethenny “should have known better” than to do the interview.
“Bethenny actually upset me more in the things that were said,” Ariana said. The truth is that Ariana didn’t listen to the podcasts, but read the synopses. Ariana should be glad that she didn’t waste her time listening to that bullshit.
Now, we’ll say that Rachel does have a right to tell her story. Everyone in the world does. But the issue is that Bethenny doesn’t even watch Vanderpump Rules and didn’t know enough about what had happened to conduct the interview.
Granted, she does know more than Howie Mandel did when he conducted that Tom Sandoval interview. But not much more.
What is one of the worst parts of what Bethenny insinuated was that Ariana and Tom’s relationship meant less because they weren’t married. Umm… Bethenny you realize that you aren’t married, right? Granted you’re engaged, but you are not married. And then because they didn’t have kids? Excuse the fuck out of you Bethenny.
Not being married doesn’t make a persons relationship less meaningful. You would think that Bethenny would know that. You would think she’d understand that.
Ariana addressed the comments and said, “In many states, he was my common law spouse. I find that hurtful in regards to other women in relationships who don’t have children. Maybe they can’t have children or don’t want children or don’t want to get married.”
She continued, “None of those people’s relationships are less meaningful because of that. She should know better than to say that about anybody.”
This whole thing is crazy that Bethenny speaks the way she does and gets away with it. We’re glad Ariana called her out and defended what once was. She didn’t deserve that bullshit.
