Ever since we were kids, we loved The Chronicles of Narnia. The books are good, and we even loved the movies. It feels like it’s been so long since those were made though and we’re anxious.
We’re anxious and excited, really. Why? Because we know that the next installment of the movies will come from the mind of Greta Gerwig. I think that we can all recognize that Gerwig is a genius and we should all treasure her.
Though we don’t know anything about casting, a rumor has gone around that Saoirse Ronan has joined the cast. This wouldn’t shock us, because Ronan and Gerwig are quite close. But we never thought we’d get anymore information but the rumor.
Leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to ask the right questions. We’re not complaining. We’re thankful that he has done just that.
When asked about the rumor, Ronan said, ““I mean there isn’t like no truth to it. She hasn’t asked me yet. She’s writing it.”
We’re loving that Ronan said “yet” because that kind of confidence is what we hope to have in life. She continued by saying, “We have the kind of relationship where I just sort of go to her, and I say, ‘So I’ll be in this, just so you know.’ And she takes some time to think about it, and then she goes, ‘Ok.’”
Confidence level 100. We kinda don’t even mind that though. We love that they have that kind of relationship.
Ronan finished off by saying, “But she honestly hasn’t asked me about Narnia. I think she’s so kind of wrapped up in writing it right now.”
