Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell. That’s all you had to say to us. We would ask no questions, but would and will hand you all of our money. After watching the trailer for A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, we are definitely going to be in theaters.
“It’s funny how the most beautiful places make you feel the most alone,” Farrells character says.
“Maybe it just depends on the person you’re with,” Robbies character responds, laughing.
It’s rare that a trailer makes us laugh, tear up, and goose bumps cover our arms. The movie, asks the question, “Relive your past. Change your future.” Well for them it’s more of a statement, but for us we’re asking ourselves, would we want to do that? Would we want to journey back and change everything?
Here’s the film’s synopsis, “What if you could open a doorway and walk through it to re-live a defining moment from your past? Sarah (Robbie) and David (Farrell) are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey – a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures.”
