When it comes to television or movies if Mindy Kaling is attached in any way you can count on us watching it. The woman is a genius and creates stories that captivate the audience. Not to mention she is a comedic genius. Her next show is entitled Not Suitable for Work.
Mindy Kaling knows the Murray Hill neighborhood – she knows New York. The actress/writer/producer sold a show about the Murray Hill neighborhood to Hulu in April of 2024.
The show, Not Suitable For Work cast its five leads. Ella Hunt (Saturday Night), Avantika (Mean Girls, The Sex Lives of College Girls), Will Angus (Prom Dates), Jack Martin (La Brea) and Nicholas Duvernay (The White Lotus) to lead the show.
The leads are great, but also great is the list of recurring stars. Victor Garber, Greg Germann, Judy Gold, Ego Nwodim, Harry Richardson, Constance Wu, Laura Bell Bundy, May Hong, Bhavesh Patel, Emilia Suárez and Michael Benjamin Washington are recurring.
The show features five work-obsessed twentysomethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.
