We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Best Scene of the Week

Raquel: That scene between William and Jamie in this week’s Outlander. For the first time, William stops running away from his true feelings for Jamie and asks the questions that have been eating him up inside since he learned the truth. And, for the first time, Jamie has the chance to show him how hard it was for him to leave him behind and how much he loves him. When William throws himself into his arms crying like a child and Jamie raises his eyes to the sky giving thanks… tears kept streaming down my face.
Gissane: Sam and Jay finally telling Mark about the ghosts is a long, long time coming and the moment was so satisfying. The disbelief in his eyes. The wild realization that it’s actually true. Just all around an A+ moment. Also, anytime Trevor forgets that he’s just fully checking out Hetty will forever own me.
Ashley W.: As much anxiety as it gave me, the scene at Jessica Jones’s house in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 6: “Requiem” was a great way to re-introduce the character—and reveal that she has a daughter, Danielle! It was a high stakes moment that showcased her literal strength, the ease with which she handled the several men sent to attack her, and the compassion and softness she has as a mother.
Lyra: The moment when Taron Egerton’s character reveals how unhinged he truly is in Netflix’s new movie starring Charlize Theron titled Apex. Because she was moving like this guy was the “nice guy.” But it was the movie being intentional with showing that there’s threats everywhere. And when she realizes the true danger she’s in, it’s terrifying. Makes you want to choose the bear for sure.
Ship of the Week

Raquel: Chenford from The Rookie! Tim was probably ready to pop the big question a long time ago, and seeing how much he’s paying attention to every last detail has me swooning!
Shana: Folks, what are we calling Olivia Benson and Jasmyn Jewell? Because, I mean, Liv said that offer to make an “arrangement” was tempting…Just saying.
Aracelis: Just because of my hope that I fully believe will come true, I have to give it to Alice and Max from The Way Home. Even though we didn’t get much of them, I feel like we got enough to see that the show is going to push their romance — not just their friendship. And based on the trailer, Alice and Max definitely jump together, which I think will bring them closer in a romantic way if they aren’t already there by that point in the season. Seeing Max get all jealous made me swoon, even though I probably shouldn’t, haha. I just see their potential so clearly, and I’m so excited to see what’s to come.
Jasmine: Listen, I know Rue and Jules’s relationship was a little toxic but seeing them on Euphoria Episode 3×02 made me soooo happy. It put me all the way in my feels. I want them to work it out!
Best Performance of the Week

Raquel: Charles Vandervaart and Sam Heughan from STARZ’s Outlander. That father-son scene was truly the best! Not to mention Jamie talking about Fergus…
Shana: That has to go to Harold Perrineau in last Sunday’s FROM premiere. That man never misses, but this was something else.
Gissane: I always love it when Sheila Carrasco gets to play lucid!Flower and that’s exactly what we get in this week’s Ghosts when she finally wins the election at the last second with a surprising moment.
Ashley W.: The way Steve Yeun (and the animation team) handled Mark Grayson/Invincible’s trauma about the Viltrumites in Prime Video‘s Invincible season 4, episode 8: “Don’t Leave Me Hanging Here” was so well done! Even having read the comics and knowing what would happen, I was trying to distinguish whether Mark was simply seeing things and having traumatic visions or if the Viltrumites were actually attacking his loved ones.
Lyra: Aaron Eckhart in Deep Water. It’s a new shark movie where he needed to be the growly hero of the story. And it was so cheesy but so perfect. Well outside of the plane crash of it all. Sharks, all good.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week

Raquel: Outlander again. Not because of what was there, but rather because of what wasn’t—or who wasn’t there. That family scene was perfect…except not entirely, because Fergus, Marsali, and their children weren’t there. And why don’t Claire or Ian react at all to Fergus’s death? Absurd.
Aracelis: I haven’t watched too much TV these past few weeks, but when The Way Home comes back on Hallmark, I pay attention. I was really excited for this new season, mostly because of Max and Alice and, of course, all the unanswered questions. And I got one of those things — but it was not Max and Alice. The first episode of Season 4 had Max, Alice, and Noah giving Brady, Elliot, and Kat, which makes me hopeful for Max, but that fakeout had me outraged.
I really hate that we’re not getting a Season 5 because it feels like we won’t get to fully see Alice and Max, especially when the jealousy radiating off Max was so intense. I do think he jumps in the pond this season with Alice, and I’m hoping they get closer, but we’ll see. And I don’t think Noah truly sees Alice or pushes her to her full potential the way Max does. He’s not just someone she has feelings for — at least that’s what I choose to believe — he’s her best friend, someone who pushes her to become the best version of herself, and vice versa. And that’s so refreshing to see. By the next episode, we better see more of them.
Jasmine: The level of gratuity on Euphoria this season. I don’t need to see a full on extended sex scene. It’s only episode 2 of season 3 and it’s A LOT.
Gissane: Happy’s Place had such a lackluster season finale that I can’t even remember half of it anymore, but ultimately, I just find Emmett’s characterization really frustrating in that he doesn’t seem to get that he can actively work on being a better communicator.
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “Fergus Fraser was my son. Son of my name, of my heart. Now…then, forevermore. No piece of paper or anything in this world can change that” — Jamie Fraser from Outlander.
Gissane: Gregory to Janine in Abbott Elementary: “And no matter what it is, we’ll do that together because I do not want to do that break sh*t ever again.” Same, Gregory, same.
Ashley W.: “What are you going to do? Arrest me? You cannot. Kill me? You will not.” – Wilson Fisk to Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 6: “Requiem”
