There’s been a lot of buzz about Hulu‘s Marvel’s Runaways, mostly thanks to a pretty awesome cast, but as far as actual, real, tangible information, we didn’t really have much.
Until now, that is.
Conventions, the gift that keeps on giving.
Hulu released a trailer for the show during NYCC yesterday, and we gotta say – this looks like something we could be into. Like, really, really into.
The show follows five teenagers from very different backgrounds as they go on the run after finding out their parents are actually evil.
The series stars Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Ariela Barer, Rhenzy Feliz and Lyrica Okano as the Runaways. Julian McMahon will play a mysterious ally to the kids once they’re on the run.
Kevin Weisman, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, Brigid Brannagh, Brittany Ishibashi and James Marsters are set to play the parents.
Check out the trailer below, and tell us if you’ll be watching the show when it premieres.
What did you think? Interesting, right? And, if nothing else, it’s worth a short. Can’t be worse than Marvel’s Inhumans, right?
I probably shouldn’t have said that. Might have jinxed it.
Marvel’s Runaways premieres on Hulu Tuesday, Nov. 21.
