Here at Fangirlish we continue to support your right to fangirl over any fandom you desire – whether that is a book, a TV show, a movie, or even sports. That’s why we have Stop and Fangirl! So you can feel happy – and confident, loving whatever it is you love.
In this episode we talk about how toxic masculinity hurts all characters, particularly men, with examples of both good and bad. We delve into the introductions of Once Upon a Time‘s Hook and Supergirl‘s Mon-el and how toxic masculinity set them on a path of not being liked by many. And we throw Wyatt from Timeless in the mix to talk about someone who didn’t fall in the trap of toxic masculinity.
So, without further ado…stop and fangirl with us! And when you’re done, come and tell us which characters you think suffer from toxic masculinity!
