Legacies frequently refers to its merry band of crime-fighting supernatural beings as the Super Squad. Because of that, we want to discuss which superheroes some of the Legacies characters would dress up as for Halloween.
Halloween Costume: Wonder Woman
Hope Mikaelson is the leader of the Super Squad. She demands admiration and respect from her pure abilities and strength, but she also earns those sentiments because of her giant heart. Hope feels so much all of the time, even if she tries to hide it. Just like Wonder Woman, Hope is learning that her emotions only make her stronger. Hope is unshakeable in her fight for what’s right and would do anything for those she cares about, just like Diana.
Halloween Costume: Scarlet Witch
At the start of Wanda Maximoff’s [Scarlet Witch] journey in the MCU, she was a somewhat reserved kid who hadn’t been allowed to fully step into her powers. Josie Saltzman is in a similar situation, as she is clearly an extremely powerful witch on the verge of a massive breakthrough. We’re only just beginning to see what she is capable of in terms of her magic.
Halloween Costume: Captain Marvel
When Lizzie Saltzman isn’t fighting actual demons and monsters, she is doing everything she can to prioritize her mental health. Carol Danvers [Captain Marvel] is someone who had much of her identity kept a secret from her, and it is only when she learns about her true self that she is free. Then, Carol can be an even better superhero. Lizzie is more than capable of doing the same, and we’ve seen a bit of that already this season. Lizzie is taking care of herself and doing everything she can to get to know herself more. If she is anything like Captain Marvel, like we think she is, she will only become more powerful because of all of her badassery and hard work.
Halloween Costume: Spider-Man
Landon Kirby is like Spider-Man [Peter Parker], because Landon was thrown into the world of supernatural beings, just like Spidey swung into the MCU action in Captain America: Civil War. Both characters are incredibly smart and know their superhero and monster facts, respectively. Landon and Peter are also full of heart. Both men would put everything on the line to save the day, even if it means admitting they may need help.
Halloween Costume: Captain America
MG Greasley is a lot like Captain America, because when Hope can’t be there to lead the Super Squad, MG steps in. MG isn’t afraid to go against the people and institutions he once believed in, like he did last season with Triad, if it means that he’s fighting the good fight. MG’s strong moral compass for justice guides him in every decision he makes, like tearing down the toxic tendencies vampires have clung to for centuries. Just like Steve Rogers [Captain America], MG could fight for what he believes in all day.
Halloween Costume: Wolverine
This one is too perfect to pass up. Rafael Waithe is the only werewolf on the show, so the comparisons to Wolverine are obvious. Rafael also has quite the temper, which is not much different from Logan himself. Although both Rafael and Wolverine can be rough around the edges, both of these men are fiercely loyal and will stand by the ones they love until they take their last breath.
Halloween Costume: Bruce Banner/The Hulk
Alaric Saltzman is a lot like both Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Ric is like Bruce in that he is incredibly smart. Ric’s knowledge about the supernatural world is vast. His knowledge is one of the factors that helped him seamlessly weave himself into this universe all those years ago on The Vampire Diaries. However, Ric is also like the Hulk, because Ric can be impulsive. Ric is also known for taking on too much instead of letting someone else shoulder burdens with him. This could lead to a major Hulk-out in the future. Either way, we would love Ric as Bruce Banner or the Hulk.
