It has been an exciting week for the After fandom. The foreign release of After We Collided is currently happening and fans are LOVING the film. For those Afternators who are still waiting for the film to release, there was a bit of a bright spot to calm all the frustration.
Anna Todd, author of the After series took to Twitter to make a huge announcement with the help of our leads Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin.
What is that huge announcement you say? Well, I will let you take a look for yourself below.
That’s right folks, After We Fell and After Ever Happy, the final films in the After series are going into production and we could not be more ecstatic! Seriously, when I watched this video I cried. This year has been rough on everyone, so this news was much needed.
Now, I will say this, while we are super excited about this news, with Covid-19 still rearing its ugly head, we want the cast and crew to remain safe as they work to bring Anna’s amazing books to life. Navigating this pandemic to get not one, but two films done is definitely going to be a challenge, but we have complete faith in this entire team.
Currently no official announcement has been made as to whether Roger Kumble is set to direct the final films but this girl is a huge fan and hopes he is.
While you wait for the After We Collided film to hit your city, I recommend pulling out your copies of After We Fell and After Ever Happy to get a jump start on that reading.
